Marcus Caldoun was born in 1970. He graduated from Hates Community College in 1990. He then graduated from Coral Gables University in 1993.  He began as an intern at K-3080 Records during the summers when he visited his grandparents in 1991.

Marcus became a full-time employee of K-3080 Records after he graduated in 1993. He became a talent scout for K-3080 Records in 1994.

At the present time, he is the Director of the Talent Scouting Department of the record company.
